Antique Gamewell transitional fire alarm box and pedestal. This box is considered a transitional box because when Gamewell bought out Harrington- Seaberg in 1929 they used up the Harrington parts. This box has Harrington guts . Box and pedestal came from Moline , Il. . In 1976 the city of Moline painted their boxes and pedestals red white and blue to commemorate the Bicentennial and this box and pedestal still shows those colors. Box and pedestal are heavy cast iron. Code wheel and number plate match.
