Offered is an 8.5” x 11” typed letter signed by legendary Packers coach and Pro Football Hall of Famer, Curly Lambeau dated May 16, 1940 in blue steel tipped pen. He writes to College Football Hall of Famer, Gust Zarnas (Ohio State) about his contract and that he needs to make a decision either way.

Includes the original mailing envelope that Zarnas jotted a bunch of handwritten notes.
Zarnas would eventually sign his contract as, he did play during the 1940 season before going off to serve in the Military during World War II.
